Late night fire destroys Cambridge home
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – A late-night fire destroyed a Cambridge townhome and heavily damaged two others.
Crews were called to the 400 block of Wood Duck Drive just before 11:30 p.m. Approximately 50 firefighters responded to the scene, bringing the fire under control in roughly 90 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Maryland State Fire Marshals say the fire started in a middle of the row townhome, resulting in a total loss to the home and significantly damaging the two adjacent homes. The cause remains under investigation.
Total damage has been estimated at $750,000.
