Good Morning Delmarva discusses the 2025 Salisbury Marathon

WMDT – The Salisbury Marathon is one of the city’s most anticipated events each year and it’s returning Saturday, April 5th!

This morning, Jason Chance, the race director, stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to tell us more.

We’re told the Marathon, and the Half Marathon will begin at the Salisbury City Park at 7 a.m. while the 5k starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Plaza.

Chance tells us this is their 7th year, and they expect over 1,000 runners at the event.

Runners from all over the country travel to Salisbury to join in on all the fun.

Something new you can expect this year is a variety of medal sizes, plus, shirts will be available with your race distance on the back.
