Good Morning Delmarva discusses Symphony 21’s upcoming concert at Salisbury University
WMDT –Symphony 21 is a non-profit organization in Delmarva that will bring a cinematic orchestral experience to Salisbury University on April 5th.
This morning, the founder, Daniel J. Bowen, stopped by to share more about this unique event.
Bowen, a local native, started Symphony 21 to inspire and teach the youth in the area.
We’re told he noticed a lack of representation for the youth at other concerts and he wanted to fill that gap with a more “modern” interpretation.
Their use of synchronized lighting and visuals adds to their performance and creates an experience for the audience.
Education plays a huge role in their mission.
Symphony 21 offers summer camps, school tours, and concerts throughout the year to reach the community.
Bowen says that this is their 4th concert at Salisbury University, and they hope to reach new people who aren’t familiar with them.
Again, the event will be on Saturday, April 5 at 7:00 PM in Holloway Hall
They are almost sold out! To purchase a ticket or learn more information, visit: Symph.
