“Fireside Tales of the Globe” to be held in downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury, get ready for an enchanting evening of storytelling from around the world.

“Fireside Tales of the Globe” is a new event taking place next week.

It’s being hosted by the City of Salisbury Arts Business and Culture Department, the Wicomico Library and Blending Cultures Society Corp.

Participants will gather by a fire and share stories, folk tales and legends from across various cultures including India, Nepal and Africa.

Hot cocoa and marshmallows will be provided, as well as crafts and various forms of entertainment.

“I want more people, more kids and more families to come and join it,” said event organizer Suparna Brinda Nandi. “It’s a free event, it’s going to be at Unity Square from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock.”

The event will take place on Saturday, March 15th
