Emerging Leaders: Emily Ellis and Claudia Reynolds

WMDT – It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to two new emerging leaders.

Emily Ellis and Claudia Reynolds are two seniors at Salisbury University who were recently awarded the 2025 Emerging SUP Leader awards by the
National Association for School-University Partnerships.

It honors their hard work and achievements in SU’s Professional Development School program.

This morning, they stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to share more about this honor.

We’re told this all began their sophomore year when they were working in the School of Education’s Dean’s Office.

They started attending open house events meeting incoming students and connecting with peers.

Ellis hopes they are helping others by being another outlet for students their age.

They are happy to see their hard work is recognized and to learn they are making a difference.

Both of them say it wouldn’t be possible without the encouragement of Salisbury University.

The opportunities they’ve been given have given them more confidence in their ability to enter the workforce after graduation.
