Congressman Andy Harris announces $416 million army contract to Hardwire, LLC

MARYLAND – Congressman Andy Harris has announced a 416 million Army contract has been awarded to Hardwire LLC, based in Pocomoke City, MD.

The contract will fund the production of Vital Torso Protection Lares Small Arms Protective Inserts for military use. Hardwire, a manufacturer of armored systems, produces protective products for military vehicles, police, helicopters, and U.S. transportation infrastructure.

Chairman Harris praised Hardwire as a key local business contributing to the defense sector, emphasizing its role in enhancing the protection and readiness of U.S. military personnel.
