After the game we talked to Head Coach Garrett Nepert about his teams performance.

“We definitely have some things to work on,” said Nepert. “Obviously first game we got some rust. Defensively we got to make some more plays. I thought we gave up some free easy runs. In the beginning and the end. I was really happy with our offense. We put pressure on and scored nine runs. You can win a lot of games when you score nine runs.”
