City of Salisbury to hold free Bulk Pickup Week

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury will hold free Bulk Pickup Week later this month.

Residents interested in participating must call Field Operations at 410-548-3177 starting on Monday, March 10th, to schedule a pickup. Residents must specify that they are requesting free bulk pickup during the designated week, which is March 17th through 21st.

The deadline to schedule a pickup is 12 p.m. on Friday, March 14th.

Pickup will occur on residents’ normal trash/recycling day, and items must be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. on their scheduled collection day. There is a limit of three bulk items per residence, and appliances are not included in the free bulk pickup program. Mattresses and fabric covered furniture must be wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape before being placed curbside.

Residents should not place bulk items inside trash cans or recycling bins.

When calling to schedule a pickup, be sure to leave a detailed message including your name, phone number, address, and a list of items for pickup.
