UPDATE: Somerset Co. Burn Ban to expire Tuesday

3/17 UPDATE: Due to recent rainfall, the Burn Ban issued for Somerset County will expire at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 18th.

SOMERSET CO., Md. – A Burn Ban has been issued for Somerset County.

The ban applies to all outdoor burning, including campfires, bonfires, fireworks, leaf, brush, grass, and trash burning. Cooking with contained barbecue and charcoal grills is allowed.

The ban will remain in effect until the area receives sufficient rainfall.
