Beebe Healthcare helping to advance clinician education

DELAWARE – ThriveAP, is an organization that provides advanced practice clinicians ongoing education, and for the first time has partnered with Beebe Healthcare in Delaware

In light of the national shortage of physicians coupled with Delaware’s aging population, Beebe Healthcare’s goal is to provide avenues for clinicians to continue their education and make long lasting careers in the medical field. Amanda Connoyer, Chief Advance Practice Clinician, says additional opportunities benefit the practitioner and the public.

“By layering on this, with their education and their training they initially received in their program, and then the on-boarding that we have, and then layering an additional educational resource on top of that, you’re really just building that foundation for these advanced practice clinicians to come out knowing so much more than they would have without it. And so that’s really going to be a benefit for the care that we provide to our community.”

The three-year partnership is made possible by the community’s generous donations to the Beebe Medical Foundation. For more information about Beebe Healthcare, visit their website.
