18th Annual Native Plant Sale is here
SNOW HILL, Md. – The Lower Shore Land Trust has officially launched its 18th Annual Native Plant Sale.
This event is a crucial initiative for preserving biodiversity and protecting pollinators such as bees, butterflies, birds, and bats.
Native Plants provide essential food and shelter for wild animals and improve water quality by reducing runoff. It also helps mitigate climate change by supporting different ecosystems.
Lower Shore Land Trust Beth Sheppard said, “The sale is currently open, and it opened the first week of March. We will allow people to shop online through the link on our website, where they can shop for all the plants they want.”
If you would like to order plants, you can visit https://lowershorelandtrust.square.site/
Plant orders are available for pick up on May 2nd and May 3rd at 100 River Street in Snow Hill.
