WMDT visited Westside Primary School to read books to children for Black History Month

SALISBURY, Md. – Westside Primary School hosted WMDT’s Tierra Williams and Ronnell Foreman as part of Black History Month. The duo got the opportunity to speak with Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade Students.

They showed them special books about historic African Americans. Westside Primary principal, Glendale Jones, hopes events like these give students a chance to see different people doing positive things.

“Hopefully, this will stimulate all children, meaning children of color, to want to be part of our society and bring innovative ideas to our area, and help our area grow even more.”
