TidalHealth resumes temporary mask requirement due to increase in respiratory illnesses
DELMARVA – Due to a significant increase in COVID-19, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and Influenza A and B across the area, TidalHealth is returning to temporary masking practices.
Masks will be required at TidalHealth’s hospitals in Salisbury and Seaford, the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute in Salisbury and Ocean Pines, the Allen Cancer Center in Seaford, and TidalHealth McCready Pavilion in Crisfield.
Surgical ear loop masks will be required for team members, patients, and visitors in all patient rooms and patient-facing areas. Masks will be provided to those who do not have one.
Masks are currently not required for general movement around TidalHealth facilities. The system will continue following guidance from local and national health authorities to monitor the situation.
