Stephen Decatur girl’s basketball tops Parkside on the road

SALISBURY, Md. – Stephen Decatur girl’s basketball picked up a big win on the road against Parkside Saturday night.

The teams battled to a draw after two quarters, tied at 19 apiece. Parkside then carried a 36-35 lead into the final period of play. Timely playmaking and 6 4th quarter points from Allison Swift proved enough for Decatur to take a late lead and hold on to win 50-47.

Swift led all scorers in the game with 18 points, her teammate Maleah Blake adding 9 for the seahawks.

Zion Oge led Parkside with 12 points on the night.
