Rosenfeld’s Deli owner, Warren Rosenfeld is funding Holocaust Museum field trip for local students
EASTERN SHORE. Md. – The owner of Rosenfeld’s Deli, Warren Rosenfeld, is looking to take local students to the holocaust museum in Washington D.C.
Around 700 students and chaperones from Seaside Christian Academy, Snow Hill, Pocomoke, and Stephen Decatur Middle Schools.
Rosenfeld wants to help fund the trip because of his connection with the holocaust. His father was a survivor, and he is a first-generation American.
Rosenfeld hopes students can learn more about this painful but important history. “It is important to teach this lesson to everybody, not just Jewish people, but people of all races, people of all religions, people of no religion. For these people to understand this happened, somebody that these people should be wiped off the face of the earth.”
Rosenfeld told WMDT that he has made a 5-year commitment and plans to fund the trip again in the future.
