Police: Dover man found in possession of over 12,000 bags of heroin

DOVER, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars after police say he was found in possession of over 12,000 bags of heroin.

Police had been investigating the suspect, 31-year-old Terrance Cook, regarding the distribution of heroin. Monday afternoon, officers took Cook into custody in the 100 block of Linden Court, recovering a bag in Cook’s possession that contained 12,701 bags of heroin.

Cook was subsequently charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $20,500 secured bail.
