It’s National Future Farmers of America Week; groups want students to get involved

MARYLAND. – It’s National Future Farmers of America Week, as local groups are being honored across the nation. Local chapters teach students leadership, personal growth, and career skills.

This pathway helps students find careers in agriculture, food, and natural resources. One group, Worcester Technical High School, helps offer students that chance. Jessica Flores said FFA is about giving opportunity.

“The goal of FFA is to promote leadership, learn by doing, and take the knowledge of the classroom and put it into practice.”

The Worcester Technical FFA will be in Berlin, and Pocomoke selling 10-dollar honey jars at Tractor Supply.
