Homicide investigation in Salisbury, Police believe victim’s son may have information

SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police are searching for a Princess Anne man in connection with a weekend shooting in Salisbury. Just before 6PM Saturday, Salisbury Police responded to a welfare check at a home on the 1100 block of Parsons Road. Officials say they found 57-year-old Roy Walters with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead. Authorities believe the actual shooting took place around 3:50AM Saturday.

Investigators are trying to locate 31-year-old Jabril Roynell Walters. They say he is the victim’s son and he may have valuable information related to his father’s death. Jabril Walters is also currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for his arrest in relation to a first-degree assault from July of 2024.
