Good Morning Delmarva discusses nominations for the 2025 Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame

WMDT – Nominations are now open for the 2025 Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame.

It’s an opportunity to recognize the hard work and achievements of women that have made an impact in the first state.

The only requirement is the nominee’s must have lived in Delaware at one point.

Once inductees are selected, they’ll receive a watercolor portrait to be hung with the current collection which is currently on display at the University of Delaware.

Kim Lowman, research and policy analyst for the office of women’s advancement and advocacy, says anyone can be nominated as they are looking for everyday heroes!

The deadline for nominations is March 31st and you can submit your recommendation online by visiting DE.Gov/Women

You can also attend one of their lessons in leadership events where members of the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame host a panel discussion to inspire others.

There’s next event on advocacy and social activism is March 6th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
