Good Morning Delmarva discusses Miriam’s Table’s annual beach bingo fundraiser
WMDT – Miriam’s Table is a non-profit that helps children with malnutrition in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
They are hosting their 4th annual Beach Bingo Fundraiser on February 22nd and the founder, Susie Keefer, stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to tell us how you can help support a great cause while possibly winning big.
All of the proceeds from the fundraiser goes towards helping feed the children living in Congo and the staff that keep the grounds kept.
They not only supply food, but parasitic medicine, a water well, mosquito netting to prevent Malaria and much more.
She tells us that she never expected for Miriam’s Table to grow this big, and she is grateful for the love and support from the community.
The event will feature ten rounds of bingo, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.
Food and popcorn will be available for free.
Last year, they were able to raise over $16,000!
Again, it takes place on Saturday, February 22 from 4 pm to 7 pm at St. Jude’s Parish Life Hall on Tulip Drive in Lewes.
