Felton Police arrest man on multiple drug charges

FELTON, Del. – Felton Police arrested a man on multiple drug charges early Sunday morning.

Just after 6 a.m., officers responded to the 11000 block of South DuPont Highway for a report of an unresponsive man behind the wheel of a running vehicle. The man, identified as 43-year-old Ernest Sandoz, was found in possession of 15.9 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Sandoz was subsequently arrested and charged with manufacture/deliver/PWID controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, possess a controlled or counterfeit substance except human growth hormone without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia not related to marijuana.

He was later released on a $4,000 unsecured bond pending a future court date.
