Emerging Leader: Kinley Will

WMDT – It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to a new emerging leader.

This morning, Kinley Will, a 3rd grader from Seaside Christian Academy and Kara Waggoner, the PTF President, visited Good Morning Delmarva.

Kinley is the winner of the 2025 Delmarva Shorebirds Hit the Books Bookmark Contest.

Her bookmark was distributed to over 118 schools on Delmarva and Sherman paid her class a special visit!

Will says that she was super excited to participate and was shocked that she won.

We’re told Kinley loves to do art and plays sports like soccer or lacrosse.

She’s a big fan of the shorebirds and will be given a ceremonial first pitch at the Shorebirds stadium!

Their best advice is to try new things and put your best foot forward.

There were over 55,000 copies of Kinley’s winning artwork distributed (pictured below)
