Dover Police investigating weekend armed robbery
DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway following a reported robbery in Dover early Sunday morning.
At around 5:20 a.m., Dover Police were called to the Towne Point Apartment complex for a reported robbery, meeting with two victims who reported that they had gone to the complex to meet with someone when they were approached by two men with firearms. The suspects allegedly demanded that the victims turn over property, including the keys to their vehicle. The victims complied, and the suspects left in the victim’s vehicle.
Police say the vehicle was found unoccupied on Willis Road a short time later.
