Delaware State Parks fee season to begin March 1
DELAWARE – Delaware State Park Entrance Fees for the 2025 season begin this Saturday, March 1st.
Entrance fees for vehicles registered in Delaware are $4 at inland parks and $5 at ocean parks. Out-of-state vehicles are charged $8 at inland parks and $10 at ocean parks. For Deauville Beach in Rehoboth, the entrance fee is $15 on weekdays and $20 on weekends.
Annual passes are an option for those who frequent Delaware State Parks and are good for the entire season. There are multiple types of annual passes, including discounted passes for senior citizens, veterans, and active duty military. More information on annual pass fees can be found here.
In addition, Delaware State Parks offer annual and two-year surf fishing permits, allowing year-round drive-on beach access, including weekends and holidays. Off-peak surf fishing permits are also an option, allowing year-round access, excluding weekends and holidays from May through Labor Day weekend. Both types of surf fishing permits also allow the vehicle to enter other Delaware State Parks without paying the daily entrance fee. Surf fishing permit information can be found here.
Reservations are required for permitted vehicles to access any of the seven drive-on beaches for weekends and holidays from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day.
Entrance fees remain in effect through November 30th.
