Coastal hospice offering free grief counseling

OCEAN PINES, Md. – Coastal Hospice is offering free grief counseling services for those in need.

The 6-week program helps participants learn healthy coping skills to deal with grief and building a community with other attendees.

Support service team leader, Joel Beiler encouraged folks to register for the program starting in March, to take advantage of this free resource.

“There are a variety of emotions, there are a variety of coping skills and mechanisms that we go through,” said Beiler. “Sometimes, the first couple weeks after a loss is very overwhelming, with all of the paperwork and family and services.”
