Caroline Co. man sentenced for child sex abuse

CAROLINE CO., Md. – A Caroline County man has been sentenced to 30 years behind bars for sexually abusing a minor.

Last week, Enemias Perez was sentenced after entering an Alford plea to sex abuse of a minor and reckless endangerment charges.

The investigation into Perez began in April 2024 following a report of suspected abuse. After an extensive investigation, Perez was arrested in October 2024.
