Stabbinggeneric

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge Police arrested a woman in connection to a stabbing earlier this week.

At around 4:30 a.m. Monday, police were called to the 500 block of Cedar Street for a reported stabbing, arriving at the scene to find a 41-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his arms. He was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment of his injuries.

Officers on scene located a blood trail that led to another house on the same block and made contact with 32-year-old Ronae Jackson. Jackson was detained for her possible involvement in the incident, and a search warrant of her residence led detectives to find a knife that was believed to have been involved in the stabbing.

Jackson was subsequently charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon intent to injure, and altering physical evidence. She was held without bond.
