Willards Elementary teacher recognized as January Teacher Who Makes A Difference
WILLARDS, Md. – Congratulations to our WMDT January Teacher Who Makes A Difference, Mrs. Kelli Anne Scholl.
Mrs. Scholl is a Physical Education and Health teacher at Willards Elementary School. She tells us that while she started out teaching kindergarten and eventually first grade in the classroom, she wanted to do more with passion and energy. She fell in love with teaching physical education as a result, and her students and parents say it’s apparent. We’re told she goes above and beyond while always encouraging her students to be their best selves.
“The moments I hear them say oh my gosh letter E day is coming up, and I know I’m going to get ready see you, it just warms my heart to know that I am doing what I’m supposed to be doing and expressing that passion to them that I’ve been longing for. I know I put so much work and effort into what I do, and for others to be able to see that, means so much to me.,” said Scholl.
The Teacher Who Makes A Difference Award is brought to you in part by Pam Price and Associates. We surprised Mrs. Scholl with goodies, flowers, and a certificate.
