Two shootings in Dover under investigation

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating two shootings that took place at a Dover residence over the weekend.

We’re told the first shooting was reported at around 2 p.m. Sunday, in the 200 block of Gunning Bedford Drive in the Rodney Village community. It was learned that the incident took place at approximately 8:30 p.m. the previous evening, when unknown suspects fired shots that hit the residence. The two adults inside the residence at the time of the incident were not injured.

At around 1:10 a.m. Monday, troopers were called to the same residence for another reported shooting. The residence was hit by an unknown number of shots, and the one adult in the residence at the time was not injured.
