Trio arrested on drug, firearm charges in Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, Del. – A search warrant at a Magnolia residence last week led to three arrests on numerous felony gun and drug charges.

Law enforcement executed the warrant on Friday at a house on Gray’s Lane following an investigation into the trio and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. During the warrant, police say one of the subjects, 24-year-old Devon Young, discarded drugs in a toilet.

A search of the property led police to find the following:

  • .357 handgun and ammunition
  • Stolen 9mm handgun and ammunition
  • Approximately 239.72 grams of crack cocaine
  • Approximately 29.42 grams of cocaine
  • Approximately 7.02 grams of heroin
  • Approximately 3.78 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms
  • Digital scale
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • $19,199 in suspected drug money.

Young and the additional two subjects, 58-year-old Tina Burris and 22-year-old Doimeire Gray, were all taken into custody at the residence.

Burris was held at SCI on a $147,000 cash bond on a list of firearm and drug possession charges.

Gray was held at SCI on a $141,000 cash bond on numerous drug and firearm possession charges.

Young was held at SCI on a $153,000 cash bond on numerous drug and firearm possession charges.
