Three arrested following home invasion in Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Three people have been arrested following a reported home invasion last week.
Just after 12 p.m. on January 17th, police were called to the 400 block of Skinners Court for a reported assault. Officers met with the two victims who reported that a group of subjects had arrived looking for another person who lived at the residence. As one of the victims was closing the door, they were reportedly hit in the back of the head. Three subjects then pushed their way into the home, continuing to assault both victims while damaging property inside the home. The suspects then fled the area on foot.
A short time later, officers found all three suspects in the area of Park Lane and Clinton Street. The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Tamesha Johnson, 34-year-old Michelle Jones, and 25-year-old Wilson Wheatley, all from Cambridge.
All three were charged with home invasion, first and second degree assault, third and fourth degree assault, and malicious destruction or property. It was also discovered that Jones had an active warrant out of Sussex County for violation of probation for an assault.
All were held without bond.
