Third SU student sentenced in alleged hate crime

SALISBURY, Md. – A third Salisbury University student involved in an alleged hate crime learned his fate in court on Friday.

20-year-old Dylan Pietuszka was convicted of second degree assault and false imprisonment. He was subsequently sentenced to two years behind bars with all but 79 days suspended. The judge also sentenced him to 18 months of supervised probation.

Pietuszka was among 15 SU students arrested and charged in the incident. Two students were sentenced on Thursday.
