The Delaware State Housing Authority to re-open waitlists on February 3rd

DELAWARE. – The Delaware State Housing Authority will re-open the state’s rental wait list on February 3rd.

The state is working to provide financial help to low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.

Officials tell WMDT that these people might otherwise have no access to safe and suitable housing.

Delaware State Housing Authority, Director of Housing Management, Elana Davis, said many options are available.

“We’re reopening the waiting lists, which will provide opportunities for people to apply for low-income vouchers, section 8 housing vouchers, and some of our public housing waiting lists.”
