Seaford man convicted of raping minor child in 2023

SUSSEX CO., Del. – A Seaford man has been convicted of raping a minor child in 2023.

In June 2023, 19-year-old Fidel Chamorro-Ramirez reportedly raped a then 12-year-old child. He was 18 at the time of the rape.

Chamorro-Ramirez was convicted last month of second degree rape and faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 10 years, with up to 25 years in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 7th.
