Representative Lyndon Yearick is optimistic as Delaware continues legislative session
DELAWARE. – Governor Matt Meyer has finally taken his seat, and the Delaware General Assembly is back in session.
New laws and legislation will be passed and put into effect for the First State.
Education and crime will likely remain at the top of the priority list for Delaware.
Representative of Delaware’s 34th District, Lyndon Yearick, remains hopeful Governor Meyer will ultimately make the right decisions.
“We’re cautiously optimistic with the new administration. Whatever direction Governor Meyer takes, we look forward to being part of his initiatives where we can find that common ground to improve the education system, create a world-class economy in Delaware, and most importantly, have safe neighborhoods.”
Legislators will meet again on Tuesday, January 21st.
