Pocomoke City shooting investigation underway, one injured

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Pocomoke City. At 9:49 a.m. Sunday officials say a shooting happened at the Duck In Convenience Store on Lynn Haven Drive. They say on person was shot and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Sheriff’s Deputies say there is no current threat to the public, but are asking everyone to avoid the area as law enforcement continues their investigation.
