Milford man arrested for attempted burglary at business

MILFORD, Del. – A Milford man was arrested for attempted burglary early Sunday morning.

At around 12:40 a.m., officers were called to the Shore Stop in the 400 block of Bay Road for an alarm report. Officers arrived at the scene to find that the front glass door had been damaged, but no entry had been made to the business.

Further investigation led detectives to identify the suspect as 33-year-old Bryant Ratlief. Ratlief was arrested and charged with third degree burglary and criminal mischief over $1000, and was issued a $1,000 unsecured bail.
