Mardela tops Pocomoke in battle of the warriors

MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. – Mardela took down Pocomoke at home Monday night.

Pocomoke jumped out early, leading 15-4 after the first quarter.

Mardela fought back, narrowing the lead to 4 by halftime then taking a 41-39 lead into the 4th quarter. They opened the 4th quarter on a 12-0 run, ultimately winning 62-57.

Zyair Johnson led all scorers with 17 points, with Jamir Roberts leading the way for Pocomoke with 15.
