Lone Star Rodeo rider visits Good Morning Delmarva to discuss the 28th annual event
WMDT – Saddle up because Lone Star Rodeo is back this weekend!
It’s a great opportunity for family fun while witnessing stellar riding, roping, wrestling, and more.
This morning, Rachel Boyd, stopped by to share all you need to know.
Lone Star Rodeo is a family business that has been around for 76 years! And something new you will see is the 4th generation joining in on the fun.
Boyd, a Kentucky native, tells us that they brought the livestock, soil, and panels that will be used in the show.
She says you can never expect what you’ll see dealing with live animals which makes it exciting.
We were told the animals get the best care and are a part of the family. Bulls and horses only come out for 8 seconds!
The shows are this Friday, January 24th, and Saturday, January 25th.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 a.m.
