City of Milford calling for candidates for 2025 Municipal Election

MILFORD, Del. – The City of Milford is searching for candidates for the annual Municipal Election.

The election is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Four councilperson positions are to be filled in the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Wards. All positions hold a two-year term beginning May 5, 2025.

Candidates interested should file a nominating petition, stating their name and the office for which he/she is nominated. Council petitions must be signed by at least 10 registered voters residing in the ward in which the candidate resides.

Candidate packets and Nominating Petitions can be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office at Milford City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The deadline to file is Tuesday, February 25th, at 4:30 p.m.
