ABC’s Shifting Gears, new episode

WMDT – ABC’s new hit show, ‘Shifting Gears,’ starring Tim Allen and Kat Dennings has a new episode. “Shifting Gears” stars Tim Allen as Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop.

When Matt’s estranged daughter, Kat Dennings, and her kids move into his house, that’s when the real restoration begins. Matt must deal with his rebellious daughter and the kids while repairing his relationship with his daughter.

The show also stars Sean William Scott as Gabriel, and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell as Stitch who works for Matt, and who GMD got the chance to sit down with to talk about working on this new comedy.

“I feel like Matt and Riley are like the family my character never really had, he’s close to them and looks at Tim’s character like a father figure. I’m not sure where they’re going to go but there’s some chemistry there between me and Kat so who knows,” says Scott. Mitchell adds, “It’s hard to do that transition going from film to television and this dude came in with an innocence that was refreshing because he had never done it before. So watching him but then watching him work, it’s like dude. You wouldn’t think he never did it before but I mean it’s funny and it’s fun!”

A new episode airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 47ABC WMDT.
