UPDATE: Suspect arrested in fatal Salisbury shooting
SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting in Salisbury on October 28th.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m. that evening, troopers were called to the 800 block of West Road for a reported shooting, locating a victim, identified as 32-year-old Tevin Mumford. Mumford was taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, where he was later pronounced dead.
A second victim, identified as 33-year-old Ekoye Spates, was reportedly taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Investigators were able to identify and arrest 20-year-old Jermaine Wilson in connection to this shooting. Wilson is being held at the Caroline County Detention Center on first and second degree murder, attempted first and second degree murder, and multiple additional charges.
