Seaford shooting leaves one injured, police investigating
SEAFORD, Del. – An investigation is underway following a shooting that left one injured in Seaford Saturday evening.
According to police, the incident happened just before 8 p.m. Officers responded to New Street for a report of a victim who had been shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Initial investigation revealed that an altercation took place outside of a business in the 200 block of South Bradford Street, during which the victim was allegedly hit by gunfire. The victim then fled to the New Street location.
No suspect has been identified at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
