Queen Anne’s Lady Lions dominates Colonel Richardson

FERDALSBURG, Md. – Queen Anne’s dominated Colonel Richardson, 77-27, on Tuesday evening.

Karianna Hickson scored a team high 22 points, while RJ Ensor was right behind with 13.

With the team led by Laila Coles, Beatirce Holthous, and Rj Ensor, there is a lot more experience in this year’s squad. Head coach Mike Kern believes that on any given night anyone can step up, make big plays and take the lead.

“I mean there’s a lot of good teams out there and you know up north Kent Island always plays us tough. They always bring their A-game against us and it’s always a battle, so I expect that to be the same. Obviously we come down south and WiHi gave us a fit last year you know three times and couldn’t beat them. So I’m sure they’ll be out to get us. I heard J.M. Bennett and Decatur are much improved team, too.”
