P. J.’s Coffee of New Orleans settles in Salisbury!
Grand Opening
Salisbury, Md. – Well, who doesn’t like a hot cup of coffee?
In Salisbury, a well-known Southern coffee shop franchise is hitting the scene and joining the coffee community.
Citizens will be getting a treat in Wicomico County; that’s coffee with a southern flare! PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans opened October 21st, 2024, and held their ribbon cutting December 5th. It is the first of its branch in Wicomico County. Owner Rob Beckey is just as excited as the community.
He tells us, what made then bring the south to the Shore. “We’re very excited to bring P.J.’s. It’s an opportunity for us and for Salisbury to have some of the taste of the South. We offered a drive through location, and that allows us to give speedy service, which we’re pretty excited about. And P.J.’s is a really nice coffee. If anybody’s tried it, it tastes great!”
When asked about the southern flare they plan to bring, Beckey had this to say. “One of the particular items is a Beignet, which is a powdered sugar [pastry] served hot. It’s delicious. If you’ve never had one you should come in and try one. But we make them fresh. Sometimes, it may take a minute, because we cook them while you’re standing here!”
P. J’s is clearly a place the community can gather and share hot drink as well. They’ve opened at 1315 South Salisbury Road, Salisbury, MD., and their hours of operation are Sunday through Saturdays 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Visit their website for more information.
