OCFD responds to fire at single-family home
OCEAN CITY, Md. – the Ocean City Fire Department responded to a structure fire that happened last night.
At 6:13 pm Saturday, the Ocean City 911 center dispatched units to the 700 Block of Twin Tree Road.
Firefighters arrived to find a single-family on fire before they were eventually able to contain the blaze after about an hour.
Other responding fire companies included Ocean Pines, Roxana, Selbyville, Bethany, and Showell.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Ocean City Fire Department’s Office of the Fire Marshal.
No injuries were reported as the family was able to safely evacuate, thanks to functional smoke detectors.
