Man found dead in Accomack Co., homicide investigation underway

NEW CHURCH, Va. – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was reportedly found dead Sunday morning in Accomack County.

Deputies were called to a reported vehicle fire that had spread to the nearby brush on Green Hill Road in New Church. On arrival, deputies say they found an unresponsive man in a wooded area, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The man has been identified as 30-year-old Warren Fosque III. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
