Local organization asking for Christmas gift donations
MILTON, Del. – Local youth are paying for their parents’ Christmas gifts with their report cards.
The Kids Christmas Shoppe launched last year as a way for children to get gifts for their parents, without having to pay with money. All they have to do is show their good grades to a volunteer at the shop and they can pick out a gift.
Event coordinator, Threasa Brittingham said donations are what keep the giving going.
“We always need more men’s gifts, wallets, colognes, socks have come through, and women’s gifts, same thing, perfumes, candles,” Brittingham said.
The Christmas Shoppe will be open this weekend. You can drop off your donations at 323 Behringer Ave. in Milton.
