Investigation continues into August murder of 10-year-old Salisbury boy, reward offered
SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police and Salisbury Police are continuing to investigate the murder of a Salisbury boy over the summer.
At around 10:30 p.m. on August 5th, officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Clay Street for a reported shooting. The victim, later identified as 10-year-old Tyron Colbert Jr., was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Police say they believe he was inside the home with his mother and two other young children at the time of the shooting.
Police are still searching for the person responsible, and a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered by the FBI, Maryland State Police, and Crime Solvers of the Eastern Shore. Anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible may be eligible for the reward.
