Good Morning Delmarva discusses the Southern Delaware Orchestra’s winter harmony holiday concerts
WMDT – The Southern Delaware Orchestra has two upcoming holiday concerts this weekend on December 14th and 15th.
They are the only native orchestra in southern Delaware!
The theme is “Winter Harmony”, and it will feature music from a variety of different cultures.
President and Co-founder, Stephen Greifer, says the theme for this year was selected because they believe music can bring folks together.
They added the element of international cooperation by including popular selections from around the world.
Griefer says you can expect to see friends and neighbors on stage as the entire orchestra is composed of community members.
They hope the spirit of music will give everyone a chance to separate themselves from their day to day lives and thoroughly enjoy the holiday season.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students.
